Tanzania - Building Brighter Futures in the Arusha region

Our initiatives in Tanzania
We are proud to be supporting a broad range of initiatives across different schools in the Arusha region. Take a look at what we do:
Newly renovated classrooms
Because of your generous contributions to our fundraisers we were able to provide >200 students at Nadosoito Primary School with an entirely new classroom experience, having turned five previously dark classrooms with leaking rooms and without proper flooring into bright, inviting study-spaces. Thanks to your donations, we can continue our efforts to modernize the entire school step-by-step.
Music education made possible
For years, our partner institutions were unable to educate their pupils in music education due to a lack of funding. We are happy to announce that thanks to the initiative by our donors, the children of Shining Star, Nadosoito Primary and Losiyo Primary school can finally enjoy learning to play their new instruments.

School books & other materials provided
Since our start in 2019 we have successfully supported to provisioning in hundreds of books as well as additional study materials (e.g. pencils, globes for the geography lessons), across all of our partner schools in Tanzania. We aim to provide a holistic learning experience for the students of our partner schools. This includes a safe study environment, nutritious meals and access to study materials.
A fence to protect the children
Wild animals regularly found their way into the schoolyard of the Nadosoito Primary School. With your donations we managed to build a >500m long physical barrier around the school, allowing the children to learn and play in a safe environment without worries. With this project we have not only increased the protection of the children, but also allowed the teachers to fully focus on providing the best possible education.
Pathways for the rainy season
As you may have noticed, the roofs of Nadosoito Primary School are in very poor condition. As a result, the heavy rains in Tanzania lead to muddy terrain which makes going to / from and between classrooms a difficult endeavor.
Since 2019, we have transformed multiple dirt tracks into secure, paved walkways, which are covered by strong canopies. This allows children to wait outside the classroom before and after class without getting soaked in ankle-deep mud.
Protective masks & sanitary products
In the wake of COVID-19, we considered the safety of our students and teaching staff as first priority. Therefore, in close coordination with our local partners, we have launched an information campaign and provided our students with around 1.250 reusable face masks as well as sanitary products to wash and disinfect their hands, thereby reducing the risk of virus transmission.
How you can support us:
We are continuously expanding our operations in Arusha to support >1.400 students across our three partner schools. With your donation, you can help us to realize both ongoing and future projects to provide more students in the Arusha region with (better) access to education & improved study conditions.
